Great Britain is an island of the northwest coast of continental Europe. You all know, the capital city of London but do you know the number of people who live in Britain? 61 400 000 million people! It has an area of 229 850km².
Queen Elizabeth II has a symbolic role, however, the person who really runs the country is David Cameron, the prime minister. Their currency is the pound sterling and the languages spoken are English, Welsh, Irish, Scottish and major cities are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast.
