We went to the “The black country
living museum” on Friday, April 12th 2013 before going back to
Châteauroux. It is an old mining town at Dudley where were built houses of the
mining period with schools, shops, a fairground, a little train to transport
the miners to the town. To discover conditions of mining works, we could visit
an old mine and it was a very small path, dark and narrow. Fortunately we had a
guide who explained to us who worked there, when and in what conditions.
